**FLARE GUN**What exactly do I have here??

Any help with info and a valuation would be most appreciated.

Is approx 12"-14" long with matching #'s stamped into screwheads.

Seems like a spring may be broken in trigger assembly?

Its a WW1 German Hebel 26.5mm flare gun... there are a few of them around... Run anywhere from $100 to $500 depending on condition. Cant tell you the maker off hand as I am not at home and have access to my reference books.
