OK..I just about pissed EVERYONE off on the last course with the stock Stag break. I love how easy the rifle shoots (very little recoil) but I may get smacked down if I take it on course again :D The goddamn thing is a cannon if you are standing beside it..

She's a 16 inch. Anyone have any suggestions? I am open to anthing, and pics are appreciated..

I was thinking of a Noveske but not sure how that wil function on a 16"...

This one looks interesting (SMith) but I am not sure I can get it in CAN

I had the Smith Brake on a short M305. :)

The muzzle balst would rattle your teeth at the next bench. It will be pretty much the same, or maybe a little worse than the Stag.

LOL, If you think that 16' barrel is loud, you definatly dont want a Sig CQB....... <----- now thats loud.

Smith Ent G6A2 Vortex, its about the best thing for a FH.

As for comps - ANY comp will direct blast out to the guys near you. Its not for a tactical rifle -- fine for "lone gunmen" IPSC rifle and 3 gun events -- but any team event its going to lose you friends.

The only comp that I have seen that works and does not do this is the KAC unit -- it is made of inconel and not civilian sale -- it was designed as a sacrifical baffle for their suppressors (and is now found on their PDW).
UFI really but I felt like typing ;)

Don't get a new comp, move to Manitoba. We'll accept you just the way you are.

We had a Swiss Arms CQB 8.5", 2x 10.5" LMT Defenders, 14.5" LMT Defender, and a 14.5" Stag15G2R on the range last night and nobody minded the blast ... not even the guy with his M1 Carbine. In fact he liked it so much he too is looking at buying a 14.5" now.:ar15:

Recoil from .223... *giggles*

You shoot 900 rounds of 55 grain a day for 4 days (with no break) and come back and giggle again.. ;)

Of course..if you are only shoting one round of 7.62 every three days or so..I can see how it might not bother you.

900rds that is not that much in 4 days, we shot over 2000rds in 3 days and a about 500rds of handgun, and that was with the standard A2 hider, and on another occassion for a 3 day training class I organized and helped host - we went through 10000 of 5.56 between 5 shooters, testing some new guns.
