Alright, before I mess something up, how hard is it to remove the Flash Hider on the Robinson XCR, or any AR-15 for that matter because they are exactly the same? How would/do you go about removing it without marring up the barrel and how do you properly install a new one (with a crush washer)? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I would also like to know if there are any options for a pinned flash hider, like on a bushmaster. It is long and ugly, id like to change it to a shorter/fatter meatgrinder type.

The pin can be removed and then the flash hider removed. The later models do not have threads on the muzzle so it would have to be turned in a lathe and threaded for the new one.

I have done quite a few.
