Finally got my navy front sight on and am planning to send her away to Jeff at Valley for shortening the barrel. What do you guys reccomend for a flash hider on my girl?

Make sure the barrel diameter will allow threading for whatever FH you choose. Some M305 barrels are slightly smaller in diameter than US. Apart from the Vortex, an AR FH can be installed, opened out, of course.
 
Brownells lists 3: AK, FN and H&K. FN pattern has 9/16x24 threads, 2 7/16" oa, .869" diameter. AK has 14mm-1mm lh threads, H&K 15MMx1mm rh. US$75 retail.
