I once ran an extensive test of primer pocket and falsh hole tweaking.
20 rounds no tweaking.
20 rounds deburring flash hole
20 rounds deburring and flash hole uniforming.
Test was in 308 Winchester cases and involved 7 different powders.
All ammo was fired in a SAAMI pressure gun for velocity and pressure. Attention was paid to the Extreme Spread of both and the SD.
For all but one powder, the deburring improved the SD.
And I think in almost lots the full treatment made the SD worse. I am on vacation and don't have my files with me.
