Would like to know what you guys have for a tactical flashlight for your AR. I don't want to spend 300$ for the light but what is the best bang for your buck in this. I looked but it's more confusing than anything else. What are the specs you're suppose to look for.:confused::confused:

Thanks

Try fenixtactical dot com. Good guys.

I also wanted a quality product that would withstand recoil and be reliable without spending $300. I mounted a Fenix LD20 on my CZ 858 and after several hundred rounds fired it still works fine.

itac defense is the answers

vertical grip, ligth, strobe, and laser in one .

iTac Tactical Defense Light

The iTac Tactical Defense Light delivers a powerful 700 lumens and easily mounts on your rifle accessory rail. Includes built-in power receptacle, a red laser and a strobe feature. Provides a vertical grip along with ultra bright illumination. A built in power receptacle. Choose continuous on, momentary on, steady light, strobe light or steady light with laser.

$169.95

this is my choice and i think its the best quality/deal combo.

700 lumens eh.... :)
That will melt any zombies or at least blind them and give you time to kick'em in the nutz....:kickInTheNuts:

I just watched a short video on that setup and they claim 8 hours or runtime at 700 lumens out of 4 cr123 batteries!
Pretty impressive run time even if the light put out 400 lumen

Surefire G2 LED. About $70 long battery life and lots of light. Another option is the Surefire 6P tactical, about $140 with more than enough light.

Fenix Tk10 (~80$) in a Viking Tactics light mount (~25$).

250lument LED flashlight $14, sku 16178
Aluminum Rail Mount, $5 sku 44685

I have both, and they work great. Shipping takes a while. It generally takes
them at least a week to even ship your order. Lots of other flashlights to select from as well.

Surefire for me too.

On the cheap, a G3 is about 100$ and a set of low 1" scope rings is about 15$.

For a better rig, Surefire kits often comes in excellent condition on the EE.

Insight M3 or M3X. Seen a few used M3X go for $150 if not less in the EE. I like the fact that the mount is integral and extremely robust. Get the 1913 version for use with Picatinny rails. I do dislike the fact that the long gun backplate has no momentary switch other than the pressure pad, for this reason you may prefer the pistol back plate if you don't plan on using a pressure switch. This is what the CF has recently started issuing.

Also a fan of Laser Devices, either the OP-6 or OV-1. All the incandescent bezels are shock isolated so their are no parts to upgrade. They used to be quite cheap compared to Surefire but prices seem to be climbing the last couple of years.

About the cheapest option would be a B2LED like has been mentioned, I'd change the switch though with any of the ones for the 6P.
