Flat Point bullets in an M14

Anyone tried shooting flat-point bullets through their m14's? I just picked up a bunch of fmj flat-points to reload for my bolt-action and I'm curious if they will feed properly into my m14....?

Good to hear.....they're the round nose Frontier 150 gr. FMJ's, can anyone comment on their accuracy compared to your standard pointed boattails?

I've shot frontier out of my 1911. Accuracy was mediocre. Who knows if they do a bang up job on thier rifle stuff. I do know that the shape of the bullet will lower the ballistic coefficient of the bullet. What this means is that wind drift will have more effect on the bullet during its ride to the target.

But for plinking at the range it will probably do atleast as well as surplus rounds so have at er.
