Flintlock pistol questions...

Hello all,
I am interested in building a flintlock pistol and would like to buy a kit. Are there any sources in Canada for kits? I have seen quite a few styles for sale in American catalogues but nothing in Canada. Do you need a PAL, registration, etc for modern manufactured flintlock pistols?

In the eyes of the law, a flint pistol with a modern barrel is a restricted weapon the same as any modern cartridge pistol. Remember that if the barrel is under 4 1/4 inches or .25 or .32 cal, you require a 12(6) clause to own it and even with such a license it cannot be imported fromt the US.
