What do you use? Those supplied by the scope manufacturers, Butler Creek, Tenebraex, Yannuo or other?

Why did you choose that make and model?

Do the see-thru covers have advantages or disadantages?

Thanx

I like the Leupold alumina flip covers the best. Perfect fit, very trim and light and double o-ring for moisture protection. They are spendy and brand specific though.

I have a couple sets of Aadlands caps they are very nice also but I find a bit loud for hunting if you wait to flip them off. Difficult to get in Canada and also expensive though.

I have not been really impressed with the Tenebraex covers I've tried. Not much if a moisture seal and I've had 2 sets break without abusing them.

zeiss aluminum flip up cap for my objective
Swarovski aluminum flip up cap for ocular.

Chose the zeiss because I own a zeiss scope and it screws into onjective end. And the swaro is high quality and fits around the ocular end (zeiss doesnt make an ocular cover)
