I'm using a Midwest Industries flip up buis, but I have found it has a very limited windage adjustment compared to a standard carry handle. What flip up buis has a full windage adjustment?

I just picked up a GG&G one and it apears to have the same range of adjustment as the A2 rear, even as the the same adjustment knob.

Thanks for the suggestions. After looking at pictures of a few the Troy at Fabsports seems like it has the most windage adjustment.

Question is why do you want all that adjustment? BUIS as the name implies is as a back up to your primary optics. Windage on a BUIS is used to zero then leave it alone.

Depending on the front sight used, and how aligned the front and back are on a build, you may need a bit of the windage for zeroing.

It's possible that the OP uses various handloads with drastically different POI?

I have a friend whos AR shoots great, but needs the rear sight turned ALL the way to one side to hit POA... I dunno?

As long as he's making hits who cares if the aperture is all the way to one side.

This is my problem. I can sight the rifle in fine with a carry handle, it isn't even adjusted over all that much, but the MI BUIS that's under my ACOG "bottoms out" so to speak on it's windage adjustment. It is extremely limited compared to a standard carry handle. I would prefer something with as much windage adjustment as a standard carry handle so I can properly sight it in.

I'm thinking of the GG&G GGG-1006RA MAD Back Up Iron Sight Ranging Aperture, looks to be a good. any thoughts?

small write-up I cut out.

GGG-1006RA MAD Back Up Iron Sight Ranging Aperture:
The unique rotating multiple aperture disc has 5 apertures preset to specified distances. In particular, 0=25 and 200yds 3=300yds 4=400yds 5=500yds 6=600yds. A small window facing the shooter, provides a numerical cue as to the range. All apertures are the same diameter--.070" diameter. The apertures have been preset using the ballistic calculations for 55 grain through 62 grain ammunition used in the AR15/M16 16" carbine length weapon.
