Pardon my ignorance but are they something for every scope or do they come only for select few? I'd imagine they come for different scope sizes, but..?

Butler Creek has a PDF with a tonne of listed scopes (over 3 pages worth) and the applicable scope covers numbers. You can get the PDF from their web site, or if you PM me, I will email it to you (it can be tricky to find!)

The other option is if you can going to a store to purchase them, bring along the scope, I am sure they will allow you to test fit them.

If you have a set of digital calipers you can just measure the outside diameter at each end. The sizing charts show which range they will fit, just grab the one that your measurements fall between.

I tried to find Butler Creek covers for my Leupold VX II 3x9x33. Two shops later and no one had a cover to find the eyepiece. Had to go with the Almina covers at $55 each. Way too much money for lens covers when BC does fine. But they sure do look classy.

could be worse there could be strange yellow stains on your backdrop............

I'd like flip ups that were double hinged so they'd fold flat against the scope. Never seen such a beast though.
