Flip Up Sights - Flat Rail

I'm trying to find affordable/aluminum flip up sights for my SR22 and I was hoping someone can answer my question ...

Since the rail on my gun is completely flat across the top I was thinking that most of the AR sights I am looking at will not fit - they mention the front sight is meant to be used off of the gas tube instead of the main rail.

These are the sights I was looking at and would like to know if they will fit and align correctly - I do not have an optic so these will be my primary sight system.

If you read the description of the sights you linked... "Manufactured from steel and aluminum, the MARFLF will not melt on your gas block under sustained shooting, unlike other manufacturers plastic back-up front sights."

So, that's a pretty good tip that it is intended for the gas block and not what you want; although it's poor wording/comparison since I think they are comparing to the Magpul MBUIS which isn't meant for gasblock install anyway, unless one had the "High-Rise" gas block which isn't that common.

That's what I read and made me unsure, so I decided to ask

I think I'd like to run a carry handle and a front sight ... have no clue where to find these parts locally though
