Banging around the Flitz website and I found this:

'Rifle and Gun Wax'. Okay, no big deal, but then I read this: 'Safe on the Interior and Exterior of the Bore.'

'Interior of the bore'? Has anyone tried this? I'd be leary to try it?

haven't tried their gun wax, but the metal polish is fantastic.

Have used Flitz to take a bit of rust from a barrel. Totally successful and the rust never came back. NOT my barrel, I hasten to add. I suspect it polishes much like BoreBright.

I found mine at Lordco auto parts. West Marine also carries it.

It is usually about 3.50$ a tube or something like that.. you can buy it online as well on .ebay as well.. I have used it and it really does work fantastic. Only on the exterior though, I haven't used it on the bore.

I've used it on the bores of a couple of old rifles. Removes lead fouling, little bit more agressive than JB bore cleaner. Polished metal surfaces pretty good.

Yes. Willams Arms in Port Perry carries it as well.

The metal polish is great, but the other stuff...no idea, haven't ever seen it here in Hamilton.
