What brands is everyone using? What do you like and what dont you like?

I'm planning on a lot more waterfowling next year.

I'm looking for Teal and wood duck as well as drivers. Cans red heads and blue bills
Looking for several dozen mallards and teal and 7-8 dozen divers.
I like the look of my avery green head blue bills on the water

I have GHG teal and bufflehead decoys, FA Gunner wood duck decoys, Flambeau mallard decoys and Flambeau and Redhead goose decoys......so basically I use what I found to be inexpensive yet effective decoys. I think avian x has the best looking decoys, but if a a duck or goose is close enough to notice my inferior decoys, it should already be dead. The most effective decoys you can invest in is a motion decoy. I added a Lucky Duck spinning wing decoy and it brings birds in on a string

I've been looking at those avian X decoys online. I've seen their turkey decoys and was amazed. I hunted rondeau park the other day and they had a dozen mallard decoys in the blind so we threw them out against the reeds with my blue bill decoys out front. The mallards sucked in 5 mallards 20 mins before legal shooting time but once the sun came out they looked horrible on the water. My blue bills looked like real ducks.
I'm going to invest in a smaller John boat for next season and use my father's 18' duck boat for later season. I haven't done much duck hunting the last few years and I miss it

These guys do some extreme torture tests on all the popular brands of decoys. They freeze them and then hit them to see if the chip or crack.

they drag them all behind a truck then show detailed photos of the paint....great short videos with detailed results....the hard core standard decoys made out really good...well worth the watch.....some keels did not stay on during some of there tests
also some decoys have small / thin holes where you attach the snap links or line...if you Texas rig your decoys look for sturdy holes in the keels or the plastic will give away and you will have to drill another hole.
