Floor plate replacement question

I have a 700 with factory detachable mag. Was curious if swapping to a floor plate is as simple as buying the floor plate and accompanying stock? Also is 243 the same floor plate as 308?
 
Won't work no feed rails on my SPS anyway. Wont keep the cartridges in the mag box,single feed the follower needs to be pushed down to close the bolt.
 
Well damn. I have a sps dbm and I want go change the stock but I can't seem to find any options with full bedding block that has the inlet for the factory mag
