fluted bolts ???

I was curious about this too. I just picked up a P17 action with a fluted bolt. It gives an interesting look to a classic old action, and am considering having it done to the rest of my P14/P17's.
 
Yes you can, depending on if you want helical fluting or just straight fluting, it can be hard to find someone to do it. Helical fluting is the hardest to find some to do...I had mine done by K&S Arms in Edmonton and they now charge around $200 to do it. If you want straight fluting then someone like Corlane Sports can do it.
