Fluting

Whats wrong with Rons barrels? I'v used 100s ....... never had cause to whine about one!() Rod
You misunderstood my statement, good buddy!
Yup, browning made some very nice tapered octagon barrels, but they were not made with Ron's barrels!
I have five of his myself, and recommend him to anyone looking for a good barrel.....

Well the looks of the rifle and the 1/4lb it saves should keep me happy while hunting the steep jagged hills out west. I haven't had any problems with accuracy out of any of my other hunting rifles either.
Thanks for the info guys.

Just wondering if anyone on here has had any of their "hunting" rifles fluted. I just sent my Ti to Corlane but am not sure how many flutes to put in the barrel. 6 or 8??? I am trying to keep it light as well as accurate...
Does anyone have any pics of the finished product?
Thanks

I didn't think there would be enough meat on a Ti barrel to flute it....

Blargon,
I won't be the Ti barrel being fluted. It is an Pacnor Supermatch. Just trying to get it down to the mountain contour weight.
