Hello all,

I purchased a Nazi FN1922 which came with this holster. I was hoping for info from someone who knows a little more about such things.

It looks like a Luftwaffe Dropping holster. No maker marks or waffenamts are evident. There is a faint stamp on the top of the flap. It looks like crossed rifles set upon a double-headed eagle. Im wondering if it is maybe Austrian?

The flap is leather, and it appears as though body is ersatz leather. You can see the stamp inside the flap. The number 19 is on a leather tag sewn on the inside of the holster.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it says "ONLY FOR LONG BROWNING PISTOL 7.65MM"...... which would be the Model of 1922.

Language is German, so that should limit you to Austria and Germany, at least as to the manufacturer.

The stamp is one that I don't know.

I believe that the 1922 model originally was produced by FN for Holland. The FN plant was tooled for this gun when the war came..... so the things were produced in scads.

Sorry I can't help any more.
