Anyone have one of these? Spotted one in a local store and the price is a bit hard to pass up on. I've always wanted to have a striker fire pistol and may go ahead with this one but wondering what you guys thought of them? Pros? Cons? POS? They're awesome, acquire immediately?

I've shot the .40, it was very nice. We own 2 FNS9 long slides, and they are fantastic, very accurate and Very well built. I honestly don't think you can go wrong, especially for the price you pay for them! FN Herstal have been around for a hell of a long time, and make military weapons for many countries, I say go for it :)

Have one and love it. Felt way better than my glock in .40. My opinion. Fwiw italian sporting goods is having a sale on them today and tomorrow for $349.

Wow...and I thought the price I was looking at was good.

Outstanding, thanks gents! I went past the store today to try it out in my hands and it felt pretty good. Only thing I didn't like, and this is really nitpicky, but there was a noticeable gap between the slide and the frame but for that price, I don't think I'll worry about it. If I'm not mistaken, this pistol comes with 3 magazines AND a couple other sized grips?

Yay! Haven't purchased a new pistol since I bought my first one almost 5 yrs ago. I'm so due for a new one.

Both my 9's have the gap also, doesn't seem to affect them :) , you get three mags, but only two back straps, a curved and a flatter back strap. Congrats on buying one, you will enjoy it, trigger is a bit gritty, but breaks in well as you shoot it( I have about 1200 rounds thru mine) and the trigger feels better when shooting than dry firing, I don't know how to explain it, but it does.

That is an amazing deal, I thought I had missed out when they had them for sale out here in Ontario in Dec for 450.00. Just got off the phone with them and placed my order.

The only problem with these guns is no parts in Canada, so don't break them. Also, good luck on warranty. Other than that they are nice pistols and almost diposable at the prices some are seeing. I am quite happy with mine, especially when you factor in the price.

cautious Woot!

Dammit, bought one too in the last 10min of the sale. I have been looking at one for a few days and for the price of a Norinco.... :d I hope I like it, I have only fired hammered pistols so far but it looks nice and the FN rep is pretty good.

Everything I have read about these guns on the net and the forums say they are bomb proof. Great reliability, accuracy and ergo's

It is amazing to me that this pistol can be had for $350! Probably THE best value on the market today, I will be picking up a .40 in a few months for sure, just got a second fns9 LS for the wife, so I have to wait a bit, lol. The 9 is my first pistol, and it is more than I hoped for, fits my hand like a glove, way more accurate than me, and I think they look fantastic. Make sure you give us a report on the .40 when you get it, would like to hear your impressions:)
