FN 49's in 308. What do they cost?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I was wondering.

I see FN 49's up for sale on occasion, mostly in 8x57, but I'm kind of interested in finding one in 308. I know I've seen one for sale on the EE, but $1400 is a bit out of my price range, nice as that sniper one is.

My question is, what do FN 49's in 308 usually run for, and, just exactly how hard are they to find?
 
FN-49's in .308 were mostly conversion done by the Argentinian Navy, only a few thousand were modified and it is an extremely rare gun in Canada. Some civilian custom conversions were made by Gunsmiths, naturally not a cheap alternative.

So rare that the chances of anybody finding one here are extremely slim. FN made one rifle in 7.62 x 51. No mention anywhere about how many the Argie Navy had. Rumoured to be 1800 to 2,000. There was a guy on another forum who had one for sale in 2012 at 2 grand US. No mention of condition, but it had 4 mags with it. Another sold this year on Gunbroker for around a grand US.
