What's the barrel length? AFAIK, if < 18.6“ it will make any semi-auto lower restricted.

If it mates an ar15 lower it will be restricted even if the barrel is over 18.6".

These were for sale here in Canada a number of years ago. It's just an AR upper. Kind of cool. So yes unregulated like any other AR upper. I considered getting one. But I bought a PS-90 instead.

the AR lower is what makes the firearm restricted, not whatever upper you mate with it.
 
What if you got this mated to the Alberta Tactical Da-50 Style Non-restricted Lower? That with an 18.6 Inch Barrel= NR?

Don't need the mag-well since it feeds from the upper.



EDIT: Nevermind, ejects the brass downwards through the empty mag well
