FN Boys Sporter Rifle

I picked up this interesting rifle at Elwood Epps. It's an FN Boys Sporter single shot rifle, 20 inch barrel, 3 pounds seven ounces. Anybody have any more info. or history on this gun?

I have a nearly identical FN that I have owned for about 20 years. I think it cost me a whoping $50 and it will out shoot all my other rimfires easily. You have a great little rifle congrats!

Took this rifle to the range and was happy with the results. This group was shot from 25 yards using the iron sights. Group size is one and a quarter inch.

i have an identical rifle. it was my grandmothers. she won it at a fair, by shooting a quarter off a post at 25 yards. she used to shoot gophers,starlings, you name it, right up into her 80s
