FN C2 & Enfield No1

Found these pics today, thought you guys would get a kick out of them.

My first year in the QOR, would have been 1970. The Enfield is my fathers that hung on the wall for decades. He gave it away a few years before he died, so no I don't have it.

In 1972 I had to come home early from Petawawa, so this is me in the back yard with my C2 before I took it back to the amouries. I took it on the TTC in a duffel bag with the barrel sticking out! Imagine doing that today!!

The last photo is me on top of a Jagd Tiger in the museum in the UK. Would have been in the late 1960's

Did that once in the dark in a trench. It's quite the experience.

Did the same as you with a Sterling one weekend. Cleaned it at home and put it back in the rack the next week. Often on road moves it was not unusual to walk with slung weapon or holstered pistol into the Mac's milk to buy smokes.

I enjoyed shooting the C2. I sure hated humping one on an ATC.
