Does anyone know where to find the original scope for a FN F2000 Rifle? I have looked high and low and came up with nothing. Mostly because Call of duty has one in the game and Typing in F2000 on Google is absolutely useless and is slowly killing off what few brain cells I had left after waisting countless hours playing that game. Also it doesn't help that I haven't the foggiest idea who made it (FN or contracted piece) or what one might call it other then F2000 scope.

This is for a airsoft gun however there is no dimensional difference between the airsoft version and the real steel rifle. Otherwise it looks like EoTech it is!

Any help would be great. For reference it the one in the picture.

I did a quick search on the airsoft forums and it looks like a company called G&G makes the replicas, and they have one coming out called the hunter version that has the scope (from what I can tell anyway). You could contact that company and ask them. Otherwise you would have to contact FN USA and buy the shroud and scope, but it might not work if the airsoft version has a high rail like the 'tactical' version of the real FS2000/F2000, so you would have to get the lower rail which is not the same size as the tactical rail. And this is all provided the details are identical between the two, including the fastening placements, etc.

I'd also like to point out the scope is a 1.5x magnified scope with a black reticule, since I had to correct one of my friends who plays one of the games religiously and thought that the scope was a red dot. On the FN forums, someone found out that a C-More scope can fit under the shroud, which would produce a red dot, but I don't know if it has an automatic shut-off since you would have to remove the shroud each time to use it.

The scope and shroud are on the FS2000/F2000 'standard' model, if that helps any (F2000 'standard' is in your pics).

@ SF-M1A: Thank you for your valuable suggestion and input!

@ Bracketman:
I have looked into the "Hunter" Model by G&G. However you cannot purchase the scope or shroud separate from the gun. Which basically means I would have to sell this one and buy the rifle with the scope. I due hope this changes when the gun is released, but as far as I have heard that's all they are planning.

I have heard about the C-More mod as well as a guy in the UK that managed to modify in a ELCAN scope. However I didn't know about the 2 different rail set-ups. In my quick research however I did find I can purchase the other rail. Everything on the rail appears to be the same, But I can't say for sure until I try it. I think I may purchase one just in case.

I also really want to find the shroud as a minimum as I am considering buying the F2000 from Questar and would like to put my Leupold M4 scope on it maintaining the FN "style". But again, Real Steel or airsoft... I just can't find them.

EDIT: Just took another look at the FN's on Questar's site and they have the scope on some of the FN's :D. That solves one. And I may send a e-mail to FN USA and ask about purchasing separately.

Don't currently own one. I am considering buying one from Questar and I have the Airsoft version. It's nice to handle and a very interesting piece. For instance how many guns do you know that are front ejecting? And the ergonomics of the gun are spectacular. Plus You have all the accuracy of a Armalite M16, high reliability, and features unavailable in any other rifle. Probably the only rifle capable of firing up to 6 rounds without ejecting a single casing. One pin disassembly. and bullpup design for compactness coupled with the "in-line" design for minimum recoil.

The airsoft one I own I purchased recently and am building to sell to a friend. However the scope issue is a real pain. I wouldn't own a airsoft one as I currently run a M16M203 platform but would consider a real one to take to the range. I am big into exotic and unusual guns and this gun truly is exactly that. Hence why I want the original optic to complete the look.

The Kel Tec RFB's have just started to arrive in Canada, and they fire 7.62 instead of 5.56 and are forward-ejecting. I had a pre-order made out months ago (would have been 2nd in Alberta) then relinquished the idea until I see how they hold up, since some of the problematic reports on the Kel Tec website mysteriously 'disappeared' over time regarding the RFB's... however, I'm holding out hope that they will get even better as time goes on. Plus they have an interesting bullpup shotgun on the way that I'm far more interested in!

I usually love bullpups, like the AUG, Famas and Tavor, but this thing looks like a boat.

It may look like a "boat", but it shoots like a dream. I have the optic version (standard - not tactical), with the mounted scope. If you own the tactical version, I don't think the shroud will fit over your rail and lock into place even if you get a scope for it. EoTech is the way to go (or aimpoint etc..)

REAL F2000's (called FS2000's for the civis) come your your choice of flat top rail or optic.

Your on the wrong forum buddy. I think there's a place call airsoftcanada or something for people to talk about playing commando with kids toys

I still am failing to see how looking for a scope is Airsoft Canada specific. Or is there Airsoft Proprietary scopes that I am unaware of?

Not only that But I believe my collection of "real steel" and having my PAL and RPAL gives me as much right to post on CGN as anyone else. Which of course completely ignores the fact that had I have failed to mention it was a airsoft gun, you would have had no idea nor indication that this wasn't for a real gun. So if you would please either post something useful to the topic or refrain from trolling my post due to my other shooting hobbies it would be much obliged. This is a SCOPE thread, Pertaining to SCOPES. Not the gun.....

P.S. In case you didn't read BEFORE you posted there is also mention of the same scope being used pertaining to the 5.56 REAL gun as well. I believe one I am considering purchasing from Questar, Which I believe to be a REAL gun.

Thank you and have a nice day...

Now back to the scope topic:

With the Optic rail vs. the 20mm tactical rail, is it that their is a different upper or is it merely a different rail? I had found a separate rail for it but it turns out it is only a conversion to a 11mm dovetail. Again it's a pain to find anything amongst the call of duty clutter.

Is there also a possibility that someone could post a picture of the optic rail?

If you have the tactical, the 'standard' shroud and optic won't fit. Full stop.

Don't bother looking, cause it wont fit. The rail is different. The bottom of the rail also is part of the ejection tube, so you can't just swap them. It won't work.

Also, you should have known the second you said 'airsoft' you would get killed on here.

The 'real' FS2000 is sweet.

So basically it's SOL unless it comes with the Scope. Ok well that's good to know! Just have to use a EoTech.

So with the "real" FS2000 what's the scope like? I know its small magnification but is the eye relief and reticle decent?

I did some searching and found that someone did get the pieces from an airsoft place (in New Zealand I believe), with his information here:

http://airsoftreviewnz.com/?page_id=5

I would urge to go with airsoft pieces. The lower rail on the 'real' FS2000 'standard' appears to have different spacing for the scope to mount onto, and looks to be made quite differently than the airsoft equivalent.. and I would assume the airsoft pieces would be drastically less in terms of cost, and also would fit the airsoft gun without major modifications.

You should give that guy who wrote the review an email and see what the cost would be. If it's ludicrious, you could always sell your Airsoft F2000 and purchase the other version.

Black reticule (the early ones were white), fairly decent eye relief, and the scope is fine up to ~100 yards. Not a precision sight by any means, but very clear and simple to use for combat.
