FN FAL Question

I hope this is in the right spot if not mods please fell free to move. Sorry if this is a dumb question but....
My question is what is the difference between the inch and metric FN FAL. Is there a way to tell which one is which. Any info people could pass on would be great.

The 'inch' versions were of Commonwealth origin/use - UK/Cdn/Australia

To be honest I am actually glad they are prohib , they are much more insidious than a M305-Rem 750

Thanks for the help guys... I know it hurts but I have never fired one of these rifles, can only look. Got to love being a second class citizen.

Ah... gone are my happy youthful days of the CF with a C1 or C2 or having owned my brit/aussie L1A1's. I guess it is better to have shot and lost then to have never shot at all.
