I was looking around for some sort of option to get a good cheek weld on my scoped sks, i'm not really a fan of those slip on ones as they hide to much of the wood and are just cheap looking imo. So I found this little gem and the fit was pretty damn good right out of the box, not perfect but I didn't see the need to whip out the dremel. Taped it in place and moved my scope around untill it felt good then drill and screwed it in. I'm only posting this because I saw an sks on here that had a draganov cheek peice on their wood stock and was very impressed. I had a hard time finding something to fit the bill. Unfortunately amazon.ca is out of stock and I don't know if you can ship these from the states. If people are interested enough maybe some of the Canadian suppliers will get them in, if people wanted them that is.

Very nice! What kind of material is it made from? I'm wondering if one of these could be cut in half and one piece shaped to make a more prominent grip.

Its made of hard plastic with a nice matte finish. I think if you chopped it in half it might look funny cause its hollow, but you could figure something out.

Actually I think hollow is a good thing for what I have in mind. Cut in half, take two wedges off, file to shape, and screw it on.

What do you think?
