I'm new to long range shooting. And to help me in this new adventure I picked up an FN-FNAR Heavy, slapped a Leupold 3-9 scope on it and dang am I ever having a lot of fun. I've heard people complain about the weight of this thing and the price of mags has been a sore point for some. My concern is trying to put the brakes on how much 308 ammo I'm slinging downrange! This rifle is amazingly accurate, beautiful trigger and the response from everybody that has shot it has been identical "Holy #$%%#@ is this thing ever ^&%#$*& amazing! How %^*&@!$ much did it cost and where the %#$& can I buy one!"

Paper targets at 100 yds have become pretty boring, sub moa all day long, so I'm taking it out on golf balls. And that was with white box 150 gr. And yes as soon as I can I'll get out to the range and try the Black Rifle Accuracy Challenge, I've already downloaded the targets!

And for all of you folks on the fence about this rifle? Get off, get off the fence now! The price of mags, really? Yeah right, now I'm saving up for a tactical scope, $$$$$. The weight? I call it a workout...

It's going to be a while before I can drop $1500+ on a tactical scope so I'll wring this Leupold out for now. 9x should keep me on steel out to my maximum abilities, at least for now.
