Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm looking for an FN FNAR, long heavy barrel please. Any dealer selling those ? Northpro used to have a variant I believe...no longer on their site, and Questar used to carry it too but it's gone from their website too. Any ideas ?

I had to buy mine in the US and import through Irunguns. I'm fairly sure that no one sells them new in Canada anymore.

Buds Gun Shop sells them online and has stock. I bought mine from them back in 2013 and had no issues doing the FFL transfer to Irunguns.

Morc, i went on Buds Gun Shop and I noticed several FNAR for sale, one of them that is in stock, is listed as being a 308 riffle while other specify 308 ( 7.62 nato ). Does the one listed as only a 308 win, not able to shoot the equivalent Nato 7.62 by 51 ? what did you get if I may ask ?

IIRC 762x51 is weaker than 308, so a 308 will be able to shoot 762x51
 
While preparing my FNAR for Trinimon challenge, i took a few pictures for you guys, the FNAR is marked rifle and mags 7.62X51 but i shoot with great pleasure Hornady 155 gr Match in it, no problem whatsoever and constant sub MOA accuracy with ligher bullets 150-155 gr... JP.
