Hey guys, hope someone can help me out. My buddy just bought an FNS9L that shoots 3" low at 10m. We tried all sorts of various factory, and hand loaded ammo from 115-147 grain with the same results. My 3 pistols are dead on with the same ammo we tried in his FN, so it's not us. I guess we need a lower front sight but can't find one anywhere. Is there a way to figure out which sight height he needs to come up 3" at 10m? Do we measure from the top of the slide to the top of the sight to get the size that's on there now? Or do you measure from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight?
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the FN FORUM .NET There's info there on this know problem with this model pistol. There is a shorter fiber optic front sight available. That can be found also on Amazon .Com and CA. I feel a adjustable rear sight would be much better but I wasn't able to locate a supplier if there is one. I was unhappy with the one I had so I sold it.

A buddy on mine just had the same problem with his FNS40L. Still haven't found anything to fix the elevation problem. We both shot in and were more like 5-6 inches low.
