I recently acquired the FNP45 (non-tactical) as I figured that I would step into the plastic gun world. The gun seems very well built. The gun is BIG. I am 6'3" and have gorilla sized hands and it still feels very large - but I am also used to 1911's. Seems like a quality gun though and I would recommend it thus far.
I have an FNP45, like the gun but there are no parts available in Canada, I broke the right side decocking lever and in my quest to find parts was told that the Canadian importer/distributor only deals in the firearms, no small parts and no intentions to change that. Cannot find anyone in the US that handles parts that ships to Canada.
I have one and in fee and I love it,accurate and the balance is good, although I might have to part with it as I want to go to 9mm to start shooting 3gun.
Is the guns mag well and grip squishy and flexible like that vid that showed up on YouTube recently suggests?
Got mine outfitted with a Trijicon and it's pretty great, no issues other than wanting to shoot it . . . A LOT!
No squishy wag well like the video, not sure what's up with that to be honest. You can find all kinds of stuff on Youtube it seems.
