Fn L1a1.

most of the time I don't even bother to look here.No FN's, or HK's, just loads of 305's and m1a's:rolleyes: I guess because we can't shoot them at the moment, no one has anything to say...sad

Hijack m-14 is the best rifle ever

Just kidding. I had an Indian Ishapore which I attached canadian wood to. Unfortunately I sold it and made a 100 bucks years ago. I cry my self to sleep now because I can not buy another. I think a lot of us would love to have the C1 that we grew up with but the regs are that we can't. Focusing on that rifle just increases the sale of valium.

Without a doubt (IMHO anyway) STILL the best battle rifle ever made, bar none! I have one and am in the process of buying a second one from a CGN member.

Regards,

I've got a few of them including a C2 built semi-auto only on a C1 lower. I just recently sold one of my Brits. They are by far my favorite although I love my HK91 and ARs as well. With any luck they'll see some range time again sometime soon!!:D glocker

My dad use to take me shooting gophers with his FN.
I thought that thing was heavy as hell, but I still liked it.
I was only 5 or 6 at the time.

I've got Ishaphore from years back which I'd almost sold before it became a prohib, sure glad I didn't part with it! I purchased it when you could get them for $100 at Century, those where the days. Hopefully we'll be able to use them again in the future, I sure miss that.

I have a dewatted FN and I sure wish I could shoot it. They are beauts

Nelly, not only a enfield guru but also a punster. Love it man, keep it up.Did ya get your enfield pattern turned into a group yet?.

FN for a long time was also a symbol of the free world against communist inspired insurrections much like the AK was a symbol of commie struggle against western Imperialism.

I remember back in 1972 when I was 13 years old in army cadet camp near Gagetown, NB. We spent a day in bunkers we could hardly see over, wearing tin pots we could hardly see from under, banging away with FN's at the range. I remember thinking that I would love to have one of those. Thank the Lord for Century International in Montreal! FNFAL 1A1 - $279.00 delivered! That was 14 years ago. Glad I kept it.

Unfortunately I was born late :(

best shot I ever saw from an FN was 1330m (distance from trench to target), dropped the pop up with one shot. Mcpl Chris Thorne(I think it was him) pulled that, plus 3 other long shots on open sites, none under a click.
