FN Mauser (pictures)

Hello,

This is probably my nicest Mauser. It was made in Belgium. The bolt is precise and tight, the wood is fantastic...

Can anyone tell me more about this rifle... (date, value, made for military?)

I know it's a 7x57 but where does it say it on these rifles!

The top of the receiver will usually tell you where it was destined for service, do you have a full length shot of the rifle ?. The caliber was normally stamped on the left receiver wall with Belgian made Mausers IIRC.

Thanks for the info Geoff! You don't have to check your records, we have this rifle since 1976!
