I read a good review on gunweek.com and have seen the FN Herstal Police Tactical Shotgun at a Michigan gunshow. MD Charlton is FN's distributor but they can't get them. Does anyone have one? Do you think it would be worthwhile to import one?

The FN shottie is based on the Win Defender 1300.
I would buy the Defender and have fun shopping for the parts to make the mods. Much more like true gunnutz

I am looking into importing one of these. The more expensive model has a fixed choke that's inbetween a modified and improved cylinder and a Backbored barrel. Apparently a backbored barrel reduces the amount of recoil. Can anyone tell me more about what this is and how it limits recoil???
