What calibers do you think the PS90 should be made in?

These are what I think:
22wmr
10mm (5 rounds in the mag would be tolerable in a deer hunting caliber...)

Since the PS90 was released I've maintained that a .22 magnum conversion would be popular up here and should be made. Unlimited mag capacity, ammo available from any Walmart, ballistics approaching that of the 5.7mm, and a quarter the cost to shoot.

That's the trouble. I always thought if they can figure out how to reliably get a cartridge to rotate 90 degrees before entering the receiver, they can figure out how to deal with rimmed cartridges stacked in a straight mag.

Edit: Wow, great minds...

.22lr or .22 mag would be my choice, solely on mag capacity. Problem is, it is very hard to make rimmed or taPered cartridges work in a straight magazine, especially with that tight 90 degree twist.

I personally think it is for the gun, but it would be nice if sombody proved me wrong.

There is a 22 lr conversion . Last year at the Shot shot I meet with the lead designer form CMMG and discussed many issue pertaining to manufacturer and delivery of a conversion kit to the market . At the time FN was also looking at the possibility of making a kit to .

CMMG kit was a quick mock up that use a 10/22 mag feed upside down .

At the time cost and production of a kit for the US market was deem prohibitively expensive .

Now here an idea to float around . Maybe down the line FN will license a copy 22 lr of the ps90 to the market .............. ie like Umarex / GSG .... or so fourth .
