I'd like a PS90 if it had the original P90 barrel in it. If they're being imported from Belgium there should be no problem doing that.

The other thing that does really suck the fun out of them though is the 5-round mag limit. You don't mind that the mag is awkward to change when it holds 50 rounds, but 5 rounds would be a major PITA. Or rather, a major pain in your crotch, because that's where the empties tend to land.

What does FN sell in Canada anyway?

How can their distributor not sell a product?? Get it in writing that they will not sell you a FN item.
Then complain to FN. Get them to change the Distributor allow another Distributor to sell FN products.
If enough people complain...they might do something.
Apparently, less every year. Observe the following offerings;

Unless you're Leo, or his sister Lea, you are unlikely to evoke much of a response from them...

Someone make a carbine that uses Five-Seven magazines!

Feel free to sell me that PITA. No really.

So on page 294 of the brochure it says the standard P90 is also available in a semi-auto only version. So what's the problem? I don't recall Belgium having particularly tough export laws.

That's affirmative, but it's the same ol' sh!t... we are children and Papa says no go. Uhh, unless you're filming a movie .

There appear to be certain interests attempting (successfully) to keep specific products from being accessible to civilians.

There's a pretty long list of goods we are allowed to own but can't buy in this 'land of the weak and home of the slave'.

Oh, Canada... :sigh:

PS90's are perfectly legal in Canada....there are a few of them around. The problem is no one will import the guns or ammo for us civies now.

Read my post, I know they are legal. As I said "we are allowed to own but can't buy".

Goods are cut-off either at foreign export, domestic import or distributor levels.

Sure, there are a few that slip through the cracks, similar to HK no-go goodies.

Cerberus bought Bushmaster, DPMS and Remington for a reason - and Bushmaster bought the license of Masada for another reason too.

They don't need a new product, combining all three together, they churned out probably in the neighbourhood of 80k to 100K AR a year.

The Masada/ACR, as of now, is definitly aimed at the big army coming small arm solicitation, despite what magpul said in the beginning.

BINGO

EVERY Gun Manufacturer here or abroad is looking at the next Army rifle like the brass ring.
