FN semi .22

I have an old FN semi .22 that is my favorite rabbit hunting gun. It is drilled and tapped for a reciever sight. Would that be factory for this gun?
I would like to get a reciever sight for it but I'm not sure where to start if it was not factory.

Sights

I am not aware of any reciever sights on these that where factory
installed.
Likley a williams sight if there are a couple of holes in left side of
frame.

There are two holes on the left side of the reciever and a witness mark on the blueing form a sight being present. I know that they didn't come with a reciever sight but was not sure if they were drilled at the factory for a particlar sight.
