Hey folks,

A friend has asked me to sell a couple guns for him and while I have a pretty good handle of most of them, I don't have a clue about this "Trombone".

It's in pretty good shape and I thought it'd be worth a bit of cash until I noticed it had been drilled and tapped :puke:

Obviously that chops the value down (likely way down), my question is how much? Any ballpark ideas on a price?

Thank you,

Cory

I own one, great little guns.

These don't come up for sale very often.

There was three (recent) listings on another Canadian site.

Ask - $850 - didn't sell

Ask - reduced to $650 - hasn't sold yet

Ask - $1000 - hasn't sold

I was offered $400 for mine a few years back (ok maybe 10 years back now) - didn't sell - worth more than that "to me" since it was a hand-me-down from my Dad (I remember he had to have it inspected when the long gun registry started because it lacked a model number or something that they recognized).

So while there will be all kinds of "opinions", if another one in decent shape didn't get "snapped up" at $650, that may be a bit higher than what anyone thinks it's worth.

There was 150,000 of these built if that means anything.

Thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate it.

Sold an old rusty one from my father for 600 two years ago with a 70k serial number, then bought one when my son was born in october for 500 in near perfect shape with a 30k serial number.

They are worth whatever someone will pay for them.
These are into collector/sentimental status.
