Fn49 8mm mags?

Hello I was wondering if there is still places where I might be able to find a 8mm fn49 mag?

Have you tried the equipment exchange. I advertised for one a while ago, thinking, "Yeah, good luck on that," and with in a couple of hours I had one.

Are they caliber specific ? the feed ribs are in the rifle.

They seem to be. That's why there are 3006 8mm and 7mm magazines

Numrich has them, not sure if they will ship that specific part to Canada though.

Northridge International has some Belgian parts, no mags.

The problem with bringing one in from another country is the mag.capacity,they would have to be pinned to 5 rounds before importation.

Yes, but these are not complete mags per se, just the body, FN 49 mags are not detachable as a unit. Puzzler.

Our judicial system treats mag body (absent of all parts) as a complete magazine.

And BTW, Numrich doesn't sell "modern" magazines to Canada. They sold me brass Gew98 chargers, but not M14 chargers, as those are "modern loading devices".
