Just wondering if anyone can provide some insight into trigger upgrade/replacement options for a 1953 FN98 Mauser. Would be preferable if the stock did not have to be adjusted.
Give the Dayton-Traister MkII a try. The ones I’ve used were at least as good as the Timney Sportsman. The MkII is a very compact unit that will fit the existing stock mortice with little wood removal.
Brownells carries them and they ship to Canada. Unfortuately these triggers appear to be on back order.
Another alternative may be the Timney Featherweight which come with or without a safety. Brownells ship these to Canada. The Featherweights will require a bit more wood removal.
