Hi There,

I'm thinking of getting a FNAR .308. Does anyone have one or know if it really is a 1 MOA semi-auto or better? Seems like a very nice non-restricted semi-auto.

Any feedback would be great. I'm looking for another semi-auto, I have a M1A and I want a more modern rifle to target shoot with.

Look around on google. I found some review but I decided purchasing the rilfe. Most of the people that reviewed this rifle managed to achieve the 1 moa accuracy claim with only 1 type of commercial ammo and they were only shooting 3 shot groups. I found that to be a little bit too generous.

The rifle has a great barrel and a beafed up action from the hunting bar. It must be more accurate than the bar. I'm sure the 1 moa is achievable with most factory match ammo. What made you decide to not buy it?

Oops. I forgot to say I decided in not purchasing the rifle. Most of the reviews used 3 shot groups to determine the accuracy. 3 Shot groups are BS in my opinion. If you go to youtube, you can watch a video showing the guns take down, which is a huge amount of work. That gun is not easy to clean. The barrel isn't also free floating because the gas tube is connected is mounted inside the forward hand guard. I guess these things are aren't huge deal, but they picked away at me. Its still a neat gun and part of me still wants it.

Who has these in stock? And what kind of $$$ are they selling for?
I have been waiting for Robinson to put out the Xcr in 308 but i'm getting tired of waiting.

Hi all,

I just bought an FNAR. I'm going to put it through an accuracy test in the next few weeks. I don't reload, but I have some factory federal gold metal and remmington match loads in 168gr. that provide excellent accuracy in my loaded M1A and will be a great indicator of accuracy in my FNAR. Despite what people, say it is an uniquely attractive rifle ( that's how I see it anyway). I'll start this weekend with a bunch of detailed pictures so everyone can take a good look at it.
