FNAR or Tavor 7

I was watching some FNAR dissassembly videos and it reminds me of changing a timing belt on a Subaru.
The amount of pins and springs piling up on the table was nothing short frightening..lol
For that reason alone, Tavor7 all the way.

Lmao indeed it's seems like something

Don’t let it scar you ...the more you do it the better you get at it ...you tube videos...or!!!! Bring it to a gun smith to do it once every so many years to tear it down and clean it
There are options...don’t be a baby about it!!

I don't think it is the matter of being scared...I'm pretty sure the FNAR is a very fine rifle, but I don't think it should be thought of as a battle rifle or even compared to one.

One of the main features a of battle rifle is the ability to do a quick takedown in sometimes less than ideal field conditions...it needs to be simple, with as little parts as possible.
The FNAR seems to be more of a precision gun range type of a rifle or a hunting rifle, but because of the involved take down procedure, it should not even be in the battle rifle category.
Just my personal opinion of course.

The tavor anyone have range time with it
What does it shoot on average for accuracy
100 meters ..what kinda of ammo factory or reloads

On the fence for one!,

Not FNAR accurate but such a cool rifle to shoot.
Until the 7, i could not feel comfy shooting a bullpup.

I would have a hard time picking up my favorite now. Their greatest quality is that they are 308

When i get the desired group, i just see my rifle as perfect, no default of the rifle will ruin my success.

I know many shooters and hunters that have that beautifull all matching super cool rifle.
Many think they got a lazer when they put 3 bullets in 3 inch at 100 yards

The Tavor 7 is very hunter friendly, tried it once last fall on a WT pass. With a one point sling, it carry good, almost forgeting the weight. Cool rifle

I’ve had quite a bit of range time on the Tavor7 shooting various ball ammo. LC and IVI mostly. At 100 yards you can hit 4” plates on a duelling tree with a 4x scope. On paper with same scope the average is 2-4moa withe ball ammo. Shot some 168gr federal match and group went down to 1.5-2.5moa average. Of course I’m sure if you reload for it you could find the perfect combo for your rifle. It can shoot 4moa all day long out of a 4x scope if you do your part ;-)

Fnar was discontinued over 5 years ago. No parts, no warranty. It’s essentially a browning BAR. Mine was reliable, but could not get it to shoot like above. Also was a project to strip and clean.
