anyone own or fired one of these . FNH USG 5.7x28 . looking for an alternitive to the .22 and 9mm for the wife . how much are rounds ? factory and reload?
nothing beats .22 for economy . i would hazard a guess to be compairable between .45acp - 5.7x28 . for the ammount she shoots round cost isn't an issue i'm just trying to get all the facts .

I've fired one (felt like a Ramline Exactor in 22 LR), but since the round is prohibited in Canada as AP, I doubt you can get one; also, the action works as a weird sort of delayed blowback that requires a waxy coating on the case, so I think reloading is out of the question for this one.

Wrong....

you who knows not what he is talking about should be quiet....:)

Here is my Five-Seven.....and some ammo..

Great gun, very very cool and unique. There are three of them in Canada...I bought two...sold one...and the other one belongs to another board member in St. Catherines.

If you want one let me know...I'll point you in the right direction.

I'm surprised it got by Customs; make sure you hang onto it, since you may not be able to get any more.

The 5.7mm x 28mm

SS195
SS196
SS197

were classified as permissible sporting rounds. Specifically the named

"SS190 P90"

Ammuntion is prohibited as it is AP....others are fine.....I also shoot it out of my PS90
