Just wondering how much someone would pay for a BNIB SCAR16L

Since somepeople are putting out up to 4000.00 for the PS90 and FS2000.
Which you can buy for 1400.00 and 2100.00 in the states.

Well people paid 4k for PS90s cause they were selling for 6-8 k on the EE used in the past since there were only 11 in canada. Also these new ones were probably a fluke that they were allowed to exported. Its the same if we managed to get one of our Tavors in the US. It would easily sell for 10k in the US.

But all that aside I would pay 2.5k for a SCAR16s.

Its the same if we managed to get one of our Tavors in the US. It would easily sell for 10k in the US.

Anyone know if you contract an American company to make you a Tavor trigger, operating rod, gas piston, muzzle device, and bolt handle or bolt, (5 parts in total), and then assemble it so that it is "made in USA" (if you add a US made mag (a US made mag is three more parts)) rifle, you can move it to the US? Should net you a tidy two or three grand profit.

I think the SCAR would be up there with the G36. If one made it in, I would expect to see someone asking $6500-8000.

I really like the SCAR, but in the current Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement calls it as $2994. I shudder to think what this thing's cost up here, but I know it'd be too much for something that I could only take to the range. I think that if I was into competitions or something it'd change things, though...
