I may pick up a bit of this stuff. 1993 manufacture with NATO headstamp.

How good is it in terms of cleanliness and accuracy? I don't plan shooting much past 400m. What about ~200m?

Thanks/ :D

Yeah, I've used it, it's good stuff. Some of the commercial FNM rifle loads are loaded a bit on the light side, but the 7.62mm NATO appears to be a solid load.

I just fired the last batch of 1981 vintage....the best I could get out of my M305 was 2.5 to 3".

I picked up some 1978 stuff and the groups shrunk to 1.5 to 2"

Like said above it's good clean ammo, goes bang every time and is great for plinking. Can't beat it for the price, too bad it's berdan primed.....it's good brass.

could you folks all edit your posts to include the year -

For me the '78 stuff worked good - about 1.5" to 2" groups at 100

the newer stuff I would like some feed back on.... '93 is pretty new for surplus

thanks all - please edit to make this usefull.........

the stuff is great, I use it in my m-14, and I had a buddy show me with a knife how the brass is harder than a hunting round, show I don't use it in my hunting rifles anymore, it may just be me but I feel it's harder on the barrel
