Is there a cut-ff date when this ammo moved from corrosive to non-corrosive.
Also, if so, is that an across the board date regardless of calibre?

I believe for 8mm the FNM ammo was non corrosive sometime in the 70s. I know they did boxer primed in like late 80s stuff that was definitely non corrosive (on a side note is there such a thing as corrosive boxer primers). I have some on strippers that I shot in a Chinese mauser and it didn’t rust. I’d have to check it for the date though. If you have some you want to ship let me know I like it haha

There was a batch of British NRA match issue 7.62x51 made by John Carmichael using FNM brass. Mid 90s during the period when 155gr Sierras were suddenly the only ammo worth firing at paper targets. He lives in Ottawa now after selling the business but it is not on-line so I wonder if it survived.
