Holsters for IDPA are concealed carry style holsters, there's not much interchangeability in holsters that are meant to protect your life saving equipment from damage, keep your pistol in one place and protect you from a criminal charge of "brandishing" (yes, if you carry concealed in many states, your gun being visible constitutes brandishing). Buy a decent holster, get it from a company that specializes in making serious holsters - I have a closet full of "fit's none" holsters. I have never regretted buying a decent holster, they work properly and last for years.
