was looking at fnx 45 pistol. anybody have an opinion on these? how would it compare to a sig 220?
 
Well like anything it's personnel preferance, I love mine, and feature it has, I have the tactical model shame we can't use it suppressed as that's what the tactical was built for. Trigger was a different then I was used to but after a few mags I found the sweet spot in the reset. All my shooters are .45's and besides 1911's this is my favourite.
 
My FNX45 TAC is my best non 1911 pistol and i own a Sig 220, a G21 gen 4 and a HK45 CT ( these 3 have become safequeen ) :) to compare it to... Period. JP.
 
i had one for a bit, never shot it, but liked the way it pointed and felt in my hand
the guy i sold mine to, loves it, says he is selling all his 9mm - bitten by the 45 bug it seems
 
looked at a bunch locally today, really liked the sig, yet can you believe the old 1911 was right up there. in fact i may get a nice 1911 over all of them.
 
I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying one, I own one and I love it, but FN has had numerous quality control issues, and not a good rep for customer service. FNForums had plenty of info about it.

Like I said, I wouldn't discourage getting one, just know what you are getting into.
