I saw a site sponsor here Lockhart tactical has the folding stock for the tapco intrafuse line of stocks, and since I hadn't heard about it, I thought I would let people know. I nabbed one for my mini 30.

Ok guys, I've received it. I feel this is more relevant for this forum since these stocks are only made for the SKS now. I do also believe that tapco no longer makes this folding stock, as I could not find it on their website.

Its 38 3/4" long unfolded and 29.5" folded. Stock is not completely sturdy, it moves a small amount, but I will be bedding it in because I am anal like that. I'll also be bedding the action as my trigger group and action could be a smidge tighter.

Overall it seems like a quality piece. My rifle with unloaded mag, and sling is only 7lbs on my scale which is surprisingly good.

You may notice I did not opt for the handguard portion, I am using my choate handguard as the picatinny rail on the handguard blocks my rear sight because I have it drifted all the way to the right. My cheek weld with the stock is perfect for irons.

The stock has several built in sling mount areas, which is nice.

I think it takes the rifle up a notch in badassery, and makes it a little more ergonomic and useful. The folding stock is handy for me as I like to travel compact, and store my firearms in small bags. I also like the option of having it folded for the truck, or to carry on a backpack.

Its a worthy upgrade for my Mini 30, and I think others may like the folding stock on their SKS rifles.
