For all the tuperware haters

Very nice test. The P mags sure do beat those plastic pieces of sh#t that we were issued when the C7 first came out.

My Sgt actually tried to tell me that was intentional, so they would fragment during had to hand combat and embed in your opponents face. Didn't buy it then either... :D

It was really fun to try and use them in the C9 as well, as the damn thing loved to shear the lips right off. I traded a few IMP's for a couple of steel mags one summer, and kept them well hidden until exercises.

See, and I was told that they were designed for a single use in Vietnam. Never to be reloaded, just emptied, dropped, and crushed by a foot to keep them from being used by the enemy. Never could figure out how that crushing would take place on the jungle floor. Just more BS spouted by some jerk who doesn't know what he is talking about, and trying to "impress" recruits and syoung soldiers with his "extensive" knowledge.
The real reason we had them is ...... DOLLARS!! The thing that drives every decision in the CF. It doesn't matter if the decision is ultimately wrong and costs more to fix, it is cheap and someone got promoted for it.
