For all you Jeep fans who haven't seen this

Originally the Jeep was only made to last 500 miles in a battlefield arena. It was a big surprise.A classic like the 1911,Garand,Springfield.My father was in the German army and he told me they used them also if one got captured. It was the only thing moving in bombed out cities. My 1999 Cherokee had 446,000 km on when I sold it to the auto garage, doing the safety check on it, prior to a sale of the vehicle. All it needed after 19 years was I had to fix the drivers side rear window to pass the safety. It needed to go down.I pulled the connection to the electric window because it was getting jerky. My other Jeep is a 2001 Wrangler Sahara that has 368,000km on it and still runs great!Been in garage once since I owned it.I do all maintenance myself.

My 2002 Wrangler is just broken in at 126,000 km. Also do the work myself since it's so easy to work on, and they do need to be worked on from time to time. My 3rd Jeep (if I count the wife's too). Can't imagine going into the bush without it.

Great video for Jeep nuts !!

They're still only made to last 500 miles; I know, I had one.

I really like my Grand Cherokee, but to be fair, modern day Jeeps have absolutely nothing in common with the originals other than the name.
